OH MY GOD RETROGAMER IS ALIVE!

Hey guys long time no see, I am slowly getting back into buying stuffage for the neo and I was wondering is there a version of the !arcade! converter that plays ALL the MVS games and if so where can I get it.

I know there were some older versions that did not play all the games out and this concerns me since I willbe wanting to play SVC chaos and such.

any help will be totally appreciated.

George

Buy an MVS setup and consolize it yourself. Not too hard to do and cheaper than one of the converters.

I had allready built a supergun in the past and I enjoyed it just looking for a neater way of using both formats ...while saving space too

Best way is to do what I did. get a cab!! So much better than AES and you don't have to worry about high prices or conversions.

The newest BLUE phantom 1 plays all MVS except some of the newer SNKP releases. There is a very good thread about it in tech support.

Certain MOBO revisions like the Phantom1 better than others. From what I have gathered, AES 3-6 mobos don't like the phantom and don't function fully.

In general, earlier MOBO revisions like the P1 better.

I can't believe how many people dislike the P1.

All Neos like it except the AES 3-6 (which I had)

Once I got an AES 3-4 its been gravy. I can play AES and MVS carts all in one convenient setup.

No other setup offer the versatility and convenience of the AES/P1 setup.

None of my neos liked it. Two contact areas where problems could occur. Plus the chipping plastic. POS it is.

Though having your own cab in your home is awesome, they are expensive and can be hard to find in your area :(

I've been searching for a black or green version for quite sometime.
Phantom-1 sales have been pretty scarce in the last six months and when they do surface, they fetch a hefty sum.
The Phantom 1 is a device you just have to get used to using. It's benefits certainly outweigh it's flaws. An NGH cartridge shell I will tell you is a must have holding everything in place and alleviating stress to your slot.
