Shintaro Kuno (九戸 真太郎 Kuno Shintarō) is one of the characters from Power Instinct Matrimelee in the Power Instinct series.
Story
The younger brother of Buntaro Kuno. When Shintaro found out that his brother had entered the Matrimelee tournament, and that Reiji was participating in it as well, he decided to compete to show his superiority to Buntaro and to impress Reiji with his fast attacks, of which he is very proud of.
Personality
Due to the influence of his older brother, Shintaro feels a great respect and admiration for Reiji Oyama. He is also competitive, and at times conceited. It has also been implied that he has an appreciation for motorcycles.

- Speed - Shintaro is capable of throwing punches at blazing and rapid speeds.
Fighting Style
Many of Shintaro's attacks utilize his fists and his great speed as his weapons.

Etymology
- The name Shintaro means "real, genuine" (真) (shin), "thick, big" (太) (ta) and "son" (郎) (ro).
- Shintaro's surname Kuno means "nine" (九) (ku) and "door" (戸) (no).
