Puzzle de Pon!

Template:GameInfobox Puzzle de Pon! (パズルdeポン!) is a puzzle game released in 1995 by Visco for the Neo Geo. Gameplay is based on the Puzzle Bobble games, which Visco licensed from Taito for this title. A revision titled Puzzle de Pon! R was released in 1997, featuring new levels.

Gameplay

Puzzle de Pon!'s gameplay is essentially the same as Puzzle Bobble but with different rules. Although the player clears the colored balls on the screen by firing balls against other balls of the same colour, the objective of the game is not to clear the screen of balls, but to clear all the balls from around the level shape, referred to as the "drop token", with each level featuring a different shape based on the zodiac signs. Levels also run on a time limit, instead of having the ceiling continually lowering like in Puzzle Bobble.
