i havent played the NES version, and i have the GBA version, but !WAIT DONT GET MAD, BUT SINCE ITS SO RARE FOR NEO I HAD TO GET A ROM JUST TO SEE HOW IT WAS LIKE. ok please dont call me names for doing that, but i also make animated rips. OK back to the subject, i think that the neo version is best out of the 2 i have played

Too Bad, the Neo Geo Version is so expensive!
Over $500 for a MVS cart.

Comon Arcade! or SNK Bring this to market Super Dodgeball Homecart!

All very fun, but I think the Neo version has the most personality. It's got really wacked out characters and REALLY colorful backgrounds. I have the GBA version as well and it is great too, but to pick one it would be the Neo.

GBA version is just ok for me seem to be too many characters on the team.

You forgot the Arcade Version!!!

But seriously, it would have to be the NES version. This game had to be my favorite game of ALL TIME. I don't know how many times I have played it. It was a blast growing up

I really like the neogeo version, however the nes version has that retro charm. Can't beat it. I vote for the nes/arcade original dodgeball.

and here i am....

the only person on the face of the planet thinkin that super dodge ball is a super super super strangely over-rated game...

sure,
its colorful....and that

but man,its SO boring

i really cant see why people are so in love with that one....

must be cos its from Technos....

makers of the wonderful Gowcaizer....

a shame, cos while we're all busy with dodge ball, lost gems like kizuna or drop 3 are STILL not very considered....

oh well....

NES is best. You can kick the USSR's ass in that game.

The best of the best versions would have to be the real-life version

The jackasses in the schools won't let kids play it anymore, though, because they're afraid it might hurt kids' self-esteem. I think some folks could stand to be taken down a peg or two; furthermore, as long as you kick the "headhunters" out of the game, it's just good, clean fun.

Truly one of the fondest memories of my childhood... I was certainly safer playing that than baseball; got busted open by a stray bat and needed 7 stitches in my chin

Fran, you've just never played against a Dodgeball Master!

Ranking: (1 = Best)
1. Original Arcade - I'm still looking for a good condition upright!
2. NES (almost identical to arcade)
3. MVS

?. SFC Kanio [sp?]
?. SFC (pretty good but different than arcade)
?. PC Engine
?. GBA

As a huge Dodgeball freak, I have yet to play the Arcade, SFC and PC Engine versions, but of all of them, I would have to say the NES version is the best.

There is just something about the old-school gameplay and graphics that make this game irresistable. GBA is very good, but there is alot of action on the small screen to follow and I don't like the graphical style of the characters in GBA version.

The neo version had a lot of personality -maybe TOO MUCH! (Loved the specials! Putting the ball at the end of the gun and shooting as a special it is classic! --And who could forget the jumping cars in the background or the cross-dressing member of one of the teams?!). I like this one the least because of the Street-Fighter motions used to execute special throws. Still a great incarnation of the Dodge Ball legacy. Let's hope !Arcade! or SNK re-release this game.
