WTB: Taito Vewlix and CRT Candy Cab(Impress, Astro, Blast…) In New England

Hi all, myself and a buddy are in search of a couple cabs. I want a Vewlix, preferably in nice shape, tasteful mods okay, with or without modern game setup.

He’s looking for a CRT candy, Impress, Astro, Blast, Egret II/III. Doesn’t have to be mint but a good working, sharp picture monitor free of burn in is important.

Hoping someone is on the fence about letting a couple machines from their personal collection go. We picked up a couple cabs several years ago through these forums and it went well.

I’ve been pointed to Hadoken Arcade but their Astros look like they’ve been left outside for a few years, bottom of the barrel shape. The Vewlix cabs look like the scraps from a shipping container. If anyone knows of any other stateside companies with a warehouse of machines please feel free to drop a link.

They are a couple US imports to Japan and they opened up what is more or less a container shipping proxy. Super nice dudes and they also offer to service the cab for a fee - I paid $100 extra for a complete recap of the monitor chassis for the cab I purchased.

Shipping from Japan to US in Seattle is included in the cost, but you'd need to organize and pay for your own shipping from Seattle to where you are - which I would guess would be between $600-$800.

This guy had some Astro Citys in Yonkers, NY back in December. Not sure what he might have left. Sounds like you can get some Mexican food with the deal too!
