Caught RH2 Saturday morning... pretty good overall.

I think the first one is better, but I gotta admit, Zhang Ziyi added a punch to RH2, although she could have probably done more.

I'd give RH2 a "B". Worth checking it out. A definite crowd pleaser.

RH2 is funny but story doesnt' make sense.
Using Zhang Ziyi is to attract US audiences since they know her from "Cronching Tigger and Hidden Dragon"....

It was funny, but I liked the first one better.

One thing that bothered me was that they used to many lines form the first one in order to get laughes in this one.

I know this will sound weird, but.... you can usually tell what year range a film is made in by just watching it.

i.e. Field of Dreams. Kevin Costner. You JUST know it's a 1989 film. It has that "1989 Feel" to it.
Another example..... Entrapment. Regardless of it constantly printing "X days to Millennium"...... you know it's from 1999.....

But RH2..... I got no "2001" feel. In fact, it felt like it was the Mid 90s again.
Must of been the Beach Boy song (my teacher in the mid 90s used to play oldies in his class) and the Puff Daddy song.

Yes.... indeed... I must be high right now for I must sound pretty insane.

Actually, I got that feeling as well Steve.... the Casino at the end seemed really retro.

Steve brings up a good point.
RH 2 is like a late 80's - mid 90's movie.
I hate the openning music....
I just don't know why hollywood loves to use that kinda weird "Oriental" type music to represent Asia.
