I'd like to organize a small tournament, with some friends, focused on Neogeo soccer games that were very popular here in south Italy.
I would start with something easy: consolized MVS and two controllers. My friends are not "inside" the Neogeo world but I'm sure they will like (again) the arcade feeling.
These are the MVS that I actually have:
- Soccer Brawl
- Goal! Goal! Goal!
- Super Sidekicks 2
- Super Sidekicks 3 - The next glory
- Neo Geo Cup 98 - The Road to the victory
- Tecmo World of Soccer ’96
Any ideas on how to conduct the tournament (rules, training to make challengers familiar with controls and gameplay) and how to "spice" it (projector, comment during gameplay, a small cup or award for the champion) ???
