Any form to counter the Raging demon....

Well ....I,ve heard that the Raging demon is one of the most powerful moves in the fighting games,but there are a form to counter this.... <IMG SRC="smilies/confused.gif" border="0"> ..?

Simple, just either fire a projectile at long distance or jump over him.

counter it with a Lv3 super.in CvS2,if u use a lv1 super,chances are that the raging demon may eat up that move and could still get u.another way is to counter it with a projectile attack or just jump over it.

i was able to counter both gouki's and god rugal's raging demon with a fireball or using terry's burn knuckle. ive never tried to counter shin gouki's raging demon cuz that thing comes out in lighting speed and little or no time to counter it cuz the comp does it in a short distance. instead i plainly just jump.

Level Two or Level Three counter, Air special move like hurricane kick, jump away, teleport, fireball but very risky, or for style points counter with your own Raging Demon. ^_^

i haven't really tried countering a raging demon with another raging demon........BTW,if a RD is countered with another RD and u KO'ed the opponent,will it be a finest KO or will it end with that 'chinese sign' at the background? u know what i mean...... <IMG SRC="smilies/tongue.gif" border="0">

I haven't played CVS 2, but in all other games you can counter Gouki by sweeping his legs. It knocks him right out of it.

Heya Gan. Yeah you can counter the Raging Demon with the same super. But make sure that you do the Raging Demon last as a counter. You'll still get the kanji sign background but it's still considered a finest KO.

And yes I've only been able to pull it off a couple of times because several guys pull off the Raging Demon way too far which gives me plenty of time to counter with my Raging Demon. It's whoever does it last will succeed. ^_^

That never works for me. I can't stop an attack like Balrog's rushing punch with sweeps and I know the rest of the world beats the move easily. Everytime I've gotten on the business end of the Raging Demon, I always lose. The fact that the entire game freezes while a super starts up also plays a vital roll in this (Even when I hit up on the controller to jump, I can't leave the ground if the freeze already starts.). God I hate that freeze! The last time I played SF Zero 3, I did a level 3 Shinkuu Hadoken and the cpu just went right through the entire thing with the Raging Demon.

my fave thing to do is rappidly hit jab so u tap him right as he is about to touch you
and with almost everyone u can combo off a jab poke
its very annoying for the gouki/g rugal player <IMG SRC="smilies/smile.gif" border="0"> and funny as hell too watch the other player say "WHAT THE FUCK!" soon as u do it
