AES: Weird graphical glitches in Metal Slug 3 [Pics attached]

I'm getting weird graphical glitches in MS3. All other games I've played work just fine.

Has anyone seen this issue before?





Some details

- Metal Slug 3 (US/Europe?) AES
- Universe Bios v3.2
- Region: Europe
- Mode: Console
- NeoGeo SN: 139xxx

I'm now wondering if this is a boot

Have a look at the PCB boards and stick some photos up. Have you tried cleaning the cart edges?

I haven't tried cleaning the edges yet… will do that now, just need to have a google and find out the best way to do it.

Woohoo, just cleaned the cartridge and it's fixed the issue! All working perfectly now

When in doubt, clean your slots/edges out.

This is the same issue I used to have on CMVS, it happens on every High Megs games, Slug 3,4,5, and X. Cleaning the slots didn't work for me and I ended up sending it to James for fixing. I believe James replaced my board to fix the issue. Good thing that yours was fixed with a simple cleaning
