I forgot about that part. Yes, that is awesome!

Youtube vids where they follow through and resolve things

This video doesn't fit the thread criteria. But it's just a good video. No nonsense, no gimmicks, just someone talking about something they are passionate and knowledgeable about. We need more videos like this

    Ray Young collection Metal Slug

Oh yeah, why didn't we think to track aes carts by their serial numbers?? 🤦

    Neo Geo CD Conversion Project.

Not sure if these are known, but here are some other mvs to cd conversions. Probably the most interesting is having Puzzle de Pon and Pon R on the same CD https://neogeocdworld.info/html/jeux/jeux/conversions.html

    Rom-Hacks & Fan-Games: Anyone into them?

Not only does it work on real hardware, the release notes talk about how it doesn't work on many emulators. it doesn't use the expansion pak either. It's very impressive.

    Rom-Hacks & Fan-Games: Anyone into them?

Kaze's second Return To Yoshi Island demo has been released. Even if you don't like the n64 or mario64, seeing what he is able to do on the hardware is worth it. Imagine if commercial games back in the day looked this good. I set the timestamp on the video to a particularly good looking area...

    Ray Young collection Metal Slug

It's likely some rarity combined with a lot of value. It's the absolute best game on the system, bar none, IMO. So if you own it, chances are you're not selling it. If only SNK could have seen the future. You can build a house out of KOF96 AES carts...

    Rom-Hacks & Fan-Games: Anyone into them?

Probably my favorite hack so far is Warios' Hint Art. Bundled with the hack is a whole bunch of image clues like this and then you use those clues to find newly hidden stars in what is otherwise a pretty vanilla Mario 64. More than any other Mario 64 hack, this one made me feel like it was...

What was your game of the year for 2024?

Balatro. One of my top 5ish games of all time. I've also been playing N++ last year and that is also damn good.

Youtube vids where they follow through and resolve things

I'm watching the finding the captain video now. Coincidentally I watched another one of his videos earlier today before seeing this thread I absolutely love youtube. I am hopelessly addicted. The homebrew nature leads to lots of very interesting stuff.

Youtube vids where they follow through and resolve things

This video has a similar vibe as the CRT one And here's the follow up where he buttons it all up nicely I enjoyed these two as much as the CRT one. This is a cool thread, always on the look out for good youtube content. Bookmarked all the videos in here.

Wiring a 3PDT switch to 6 button stick for different Neo Geo layouts ?

Another possibility would be an Arduino. It could have a screen displaying which control scheme is currently active. It'd be pretty fun to build, not so sure it's the most practical solution though :)
