Azami (あざみ) is a secondary character in the Samurai Shodown series. She is Genan's wife and they first met when he was 20. Concerned for his safety, she is often found begging him to stop fighting in dangerous situations and come home to his family.
Appearances
- In Samurai Shodown, during Genan's ending, she follows him to Shimabara pleading with him, but he leaves her and is killed.
- In Samurai Shodown II, during Genan's ending, she interrupts a fight between him and Ryuhaku pleading with him again to come home. He concedes when his son tells him Azami is pregnant with another child. A year later she gives birth to their second son Hedora.
