Actually its more like 80 in 1 as the rest are Chinese hacks which I wouldn't touch with a stick.

Anyway all you need is a 1-Slot MV1B or MV1C as I don't think they work with older models. I, myself have a 111-in-1 and sometimes it gives me problems by half of the games not giving any sound. I fix this by inserting the cart a couple of times, but there is no guarantee that next time it will work again, so its pretty flakey.

Another disadvantage (at least with 111-in-1) is that ALL GAMES, are set to the hardest difficulty level (Level 8) and changing them back to 4 is a hassle. Also keep in mind that the MVS board only keeps data settings stored for like 8 games, so you cannot change all games to a nicer difficulty. Shame.

I wish some day they make a nice all game in 1 cart at proper difficulty setting, a nicer front menu and of course, no chinese hacks. Changing carts in a cab is not fun :)

I wouldn't mind that, complete with Ghostlop and Ironclad of course :)

At least Ghostlop, I believe it was included in some 111-in-1 carts.

Regarding the 150-in-1, it's a new cart, and I wonder if it includes Ironclad.

I'll take a look at home, but I believed a 111in1 MVS cart (or similar) I own, included GHOSTLOP in its list.

EDIT: Have found in PDF form the list of my cart (a 120in1) and GHOSTLOP is NOT in the list.

Just looked at that games list must be about 100 games tops, with tons of hacks on there. I dont really see the point in all these + versions though :conf:

Question about 150-in-1 or 120-in-1 MVS cart

I am thinking about buying one of these, but was wondering if anyone has had any issues running one on a 2-slot or with a unibios?

I have a consolized 2 slot with 23 mvs carts and the kids are getting into playing some of the Neo Geo games Turf Masters, Bowling, etc. They aren't excatally gentle and I was thing one of these carts might be a good investment.

Anyone have any experiences with the in-1 carts?

Thanks

Ghostlop and Ironclad aren't in. The list of games are already known.

Looks like there's more than one company making these, as this looks more like the 108 and 111 in ones and different from the 120 or 138 in ones.

Thats the 150-in 1 cartridge i bought, from that guy in the U.K, you can submit a best offer and get it much cheaper, i ended up paying about 140.00 for it due to best offer :P

it hasnt arrived yet and i really hope it works properly on my neo geo mvs 6 slot motherboard..
after hearing people mention they have problems on other motherboards other then the single slot 1 has me put to worry..

I only bought one so i can enjoy alot of the Neo Geo library in one instance, some of the games are quite a hefty price if bought seperately as originals.

When it arrives i'll let you all know how it goes on a multiple slot motherboard!

Price is never a problem. Everytime a new multicart comes out with a higher number of games/hacks, the older revision is heavily discounted. Just a matter of patience to get a low price.

Yeah, i just thought id say that, some people have just clicked buy it now, they've sold quite a few buy it now at 200... i didnt know the 150 in 1 was the newest version of a multi cart, they had a 120 in 1 as well but that was slightly cheaper, i thought because it had less games, i sorta thought hey 1 dollar a game, kof remakes or not, il enjoy alot of the games on the multi cart like crossed swords, neo bomberman, viewpoint, metal slug 3 etc, and a few interesting ones id love to give a try such as Neo Mr. Do! which seems like a fun puzzler!

i've bought magician lord recently which arrived (payed about 40 bucks for it) and then i bought cyberlip (about 40 bucks as well) and man does it add up how much you pay, i finished magician lord in like an hour or something, yeah i know neo geo is meant to be expensive but im sure the multi cart will do me some good in the end. Im awaiting cyber lip as well, cant wait for that to arrive... and a bonus is that these two games arent in the 150 in 1 so thats a bonus.

I only really bought the 150 in 1 cause its got pretty much all the games i'd want to buy for the MVS.. there is a few that are missing such as league bowling, nam 1975, shock troopers 1 that i will have to buy as originals but that gives me something to save up for and cherish more (shock troopers 1 itself is like 100 bucks!) also over time i will buy the games i've enjoyed on the multi cart until one day i have a collection full of originals! and besides.. i bought a metal slug for mvs, original... or so i thought, ended up being a bootleg at 60 bucks, i'll keep it as it plays the game how it should but y'know its a tad anoying to have to deal with that and try and get a refund!

enjoy the read :P

Quick question on the 150in1 cart... what level of difficulty are the games set on?

I am asking because I have a 111in1 and all games are on LEVEL8. Which kinda sucks.

Difficulty is set to level 4 and is now easily adjustable (they fixed this from 120 onwards I believe).

China sell the 150's new for $75 US - screw paying $200 for one.

A while back I bought 10 of the upgraded 111 in 1 - Series 1, to get the best price. You can set the difficulty level on these without any problem and they work with all boards and bios. I've got a few left for $80 ea. shipped within the US, if interested PM. Thanks

Yeah, I figured I'd pay for mine by selling the extras and planned on throwing them on ebay but it looks like they aren't letting them be sold there anymore, so I'm just looking to get my money back out of them at this point :(

If I had just a couple, I'd move them by including a copy with a 1-slot mobo. This way you get to list the genuine mobo with the multicart as a throw in.

But since you have 10, this probably won't work.

thats good to hear its default is level 4, i think thats default for original games as well.. and thats a nice difficulty setting, i find the difficulty level in a game like metal slug i'll happily have on level 6 or so but when it comes to a fighting game, level 1 can still be quite a challenge!

So, isnt the Neos around 200 in total?
The 200 in 1 should not be far away.

Then of course all the hacks...

Can you set the difficulty with the Unibios in the 111 in 1?
