Got a Nightmare in the Dark boot from Macck.

Everything was going smooth with the transaction, a NITD loose cart with sound problems, until I received the cart.

The cart is a boot, a fact he omitted during the entire time, even stating it was a rare cart. ( like if a bootleg is something with perceived rarity...)

After confronting him about it, he claimed I should knew it was a boot since he made a post about receiving a NITD boot here.

My fault I don´t have all his posts at neo-geo.com indexed in my brain.

wow, that's a huge douche move. sounds like he just wanted to pawn his own mistake off on someone else. Tell him if you actually wanted a NITD boot you'd of bought a 100 in 1 for much cheaper as it's included and the sound works.

That's definitely not cool at all. Even though there was a thread about it, he still should have mentioned it during the transaction.

Eu anunciei ele no ML e deixei bem claro que o mesmo estava com problema no som...eu mesmo paguei 22 euros fora envio nele....agora....voce como um frequentador assiduo da neo-geo.com sabe perfeitamente que um Nightmare in the dark nao vale menos de 140 dolares (fora envio).....e por esses motivos eu anunciei ele por um valor bem baixo....

Mas se voce mesmo assim nao quiser ele...me manda de volta que chegando aqui eu devolvo os R$49,90 sem problemas.....

Of course I left you a neg feedback, You´ve been ignoring my messages and scammed me. Waited the longest possible for your answer but time ran out.

I even accepted to pay half of the shipping expenses. Remember that I´m the one who got scammed here. You could have avoided all shipping expenses by telling me it was a boot cart from day one.

Brazil was a huge market for SNK, we´re flooded with MVS carts. Prices here are incredibly low.

The trait is that all carts are loose and in bad shape.

No one pays price guide prices for anything here.

I knew you posted here and trusted your word so when you said it was rare I took it, as bootlegs don´t fall into the concept of rarity.

A full kit sat and sat then finally sold for $225.

Not clearly labeled as a boot = refund.

I've seen NitD's go for $50...

xiao_haozi,in my auction i describe...the video works fine but no sound...just because is very easy to find old arcade shops in Brazil..and in these places the machines just works whitout sound or a lower sound and the players dont care if the carts have sound or not....if its a boot or not....so in Brazil is very easy to find boot carts... its because of that i buy many carts from this board not from there...Some members PM'ed me asking if i dont want sell these NiTD boot cart...and to all i say no....just because i dosent want problem...In that auction Metallizer was the visitor nº6.....he buy the cart as fast he can..not asked anything...

No Xian...if you do that other sellers report you as fast they can...belive...this NiTD auction was ended two times just because i mentioned (1) non-original and (2)sold as is.

And Metallizer you saying...in Brazil "MVS carts are CHEAP" its not right....have many carts on there whit some "price guide" list....like

Garou = 125USD --> LOOSE CART whitout shipping cost
RoD = 174USD -->LOOSE CART whitout shipping cost

And many others...just search and you will find......

It would have been three times if metallizer weren't fast enough to buy the cart before i had the chance to report it once again.


You didn't like to receive that crappy bootleg cart.

You didn't get a refund from the original seller.

You left negative feedback for the eBay seller.

Sure I understand what you are saying about sound. But what I am saying is that it just seems backwards that you were upset that someone sold you a cheap (too good to be true) cart as a boot and refused to strike a deal with you to compensate for it being such, and then turn around and sell the cart and not indicate that it is a boot. If ebay is taking your auction down for selling pirated/boot (whatever you want to call it) items, maybe it's for a reason. I don't want to be an asshole, etc etc... but I'm just saying that the logic seems backwards.

For auctions you can't assume people know it's a boot or stuff like this happens.

The easiest way to show it's a boot would have been to post pics of the boards in the auction then you wouldn't have to say anything.

BTW, Macck, Xian Xi had a good piont when he said you can just post a picture of the board. and you can say 100% working probably. Hell, you could have said "The sound issues are typical of a non-original cartridge"

These two accounts are hacked and the "seller" sell 48 Playstation 2 by 50USD in one night....And you know many sellers on there have the same problem all day...and you FABSOLDIER have many auctions cancelled too for many reasons...

Tonk its not PRIDE....i try refund the cart value back...he dont accept....and return me asking the cart value plus the shipping cost (6usd)...so I not accept that....So he left a negative feedback to me....He dont want the refund of 20usd because of 6usd....and he want the refund before shipp the cart back...and this i dont accept.

Anyone with a bit of sense could see thats a boot from a mile off, especially with the price. I know people should mention it, but how often do they in auctions?

at the end of the day its only $26 too. not $100 or whatever an original cart would be.

I say chalk this up to lack of experience and start learning about what constitutes a bootleg or not, because I wouldn't have touched that with a bargepole, especially for the price.

Yes, you should lose some money as well to learn not to sell bootleg crap as an original cart.

You must refund me first, I had no problems sending you the cash first so why shouldn´t you do the same?
