The seller of this cart states that it's not a bootleg, as it has a seal on the side as was common. Does this seal mean it's 100% not a bootleg?

It's an auction here in Europe; so the price could vary...
He says he wont' crack it open; I wrote him back to ask if he'd accept a return if I as a buyer crack it open and it's a boot, as he's now explicitly stated "because of this sticker, it is not a boot"

The rounded edges of the label are suspect. Serial numbers are usually what gets blacked out on labels, so unless the number was printed over the H and E, I don't know why someone would do that. Still, there's no reason this might not be a perfectly legit cart.

Well its definatly been relabeled as the original label was quite a bit different. Also those side stickers were not put on by SNK but by the distrubutors if I remember correctly...I think all the original waranty void stickers SNK used were silver gloss.

Could always ask for some internal shots since it seems that side sticker is cut already.
edit: bah just saw your earlier post that he refused to do so.... which is suspect as it really does seem that warranty sticker on the side is cut and doesn't even match back up correctly. Also, yeah, I always thought the real ones were silver-metallic ones.

well i win the auction by 21euros....so two things.....

1-I bought a original cart for a bargain....
2-I'm fucked whit a bootleg....

I think the i buy a boot too, :lolz: but what fuck....i give 21,19euro in the auction and win.... i never hope win this whit that value....

Well the cart whit shipping i pay total of 40euro....so when i received it i will break that fucking seal and we will see wtf cart is...

Ask for refund. Report him to ebay for selling items which infringe copyright if he refuses.

Yeah, I saw that! I was "neogeoloco", the other guy who asked the quesitons. He told me he'd let me return it minus shipping costs. But if it's a boot, and you want to sell it for the same price, I'll take it off your hands. :) BTW, I almost tried to outbid you on this in the first place, but forgot when the auction ended. haha.

*edit* finished reading the thread... I'm sorry to hear it's a boot...

But to reiterate, the seller told me that he'd refund the price minus shipping if it was a boot. You always could sell or trade it to me for comparable value to what you paid.
