Unfortunately the game doesn't keep track of how many stages you've reached, so that has to be done manually. Don't worry about it too much, I just thought it would be interesting to see how far people are getting on one credit

This is rock hard on level 4.

I can just about do 2 and a half world's before I die!! Those running dinosaurs get me, or the diving ones! The easiest level is the toytown.

I've only broken the million point barrier once, all my other scores are around 700,000 to 900,000.

After world 3 you get a bonus stage for some nice easy points

I don't think 18 million is actually possible.

I managed to break 10 million on an emulator, and have a 9+ million replay up at MARP... but I'm not sure if those scores should be eligible for this thread. Although they were 1 credit default settings and all that... I'm just saying, I don't think I'm missing enough points to be getting an extra eight million out of it, I think steve just took down his score wrong.

1.8 million I can obviously believe, but 18 million? Won't believe that until I see proof.

Last time I played this seriously was about eight months ago. TonK and I were dueling it out every 100K or so. I ended up with the below score, getting to the level 7 (aliens) boss on the three standard lives (MVS mode) plus the extras awarded along the way: 6,133,300.
