Zupapa, BBB and NITD - what color stripe?

I've seen these in red, blue and yellow. My assumption is that they are blue for action, because technically they are not a puzzle game. Yet all southtown-homebrew inserts have them as yellow. And of course NCI has BBB as red.... and NGF had NiTD and Zupapa as fucking orange. I wanted to work on a better zupapa artwork for my bootleg cart (hoping fora legit one soon).

LOL, I've spoken to him before. I'm more curious about answers not theories from when NGF was around and making up colors.

Stripes are US market's relics, independently developed without SNK Japan elaborating on its conceptual purpose or practical merits. Here everything is a theory, and Mr. Dakis the Zen Master.
