Zombie form [Mission 2] in Metal Slug 3

Quick, dumb question: When you are in the zombie form on Mission 3, only zombie vomit can destroy you, correct? Soldier's shots, etc. do not seem to have any effect, I think....

On mission 3 ??? What am I missing ? eek_2

Mission 3 = Ocean stage/Marine Slug stage

Mission 2 = Zombie's Stage.

More zomibies ? Clones at level 5.

Bullets won't kill you. only zombie's attacks.

When to go zombie and when to go human...a big part of level three's strategy. I usually go zombie right before the big down hill where all the soldiers attack you. Gotta watch out for the zombies behind though.

I usually try to avoid going Zombie at all costs on the 2nd level. When i am running down that big hill i usually knife all the soldiers and then blast the helicopters (with enemy chaser)in order as they come out so i can get that crazy bonus.

I have done that before but it just seems like i always die soon after in the zombie form. I guess i just suck as the Zombie.

you're right - you're impervious to what I think is a limited amount of bullets.

Anyhow, I avoid being turned to Zombie because when you're undead, you can't pick up the rocket launcher. I rely on the launcher for my strategy on the stage boss.

Get the launcher, knife the living, knife the dead, and trick the dead soldiers into killing themselves. Then when you hit the boss, unload your launcher into the aliens, and then pray for a heavy machine gun.

Actually, you get a lot of points from knifing the opponents.

If you are skill enough to take out the boss aliens with your handgun and not the rocket laubncher, then by all means. I need the launcher though.

As for the plateau where the all the soldiers and Zombies come out and the helicopters attack from overhead, I find that the B button does wonders for your survival. wink Zombie mode just slows you down too much to avoid other zombies.

By the time i reach the boss on level 2 i usually have several shots left on the flame thrower that i pick up from the ice cave. The flame thrower works pretty well on the spinning aliens. After i run out of flame shot then its time to start throwing the grenades

to be honest, I avoid the ice cave. It's just a brutal leg of the mission that I'd rather avoid in the name of more points.

I mean, the survival to points ratio just doesn't work in your favor. The super zombies at the end are a real bitch and there are too many of them.

At first i too avoided the ice cave. I would go in looking to get more points and i would just end up getting slaughtered. But i kept at it and now i can beat it with no problem. But I don't get all the points out of the Ice cave that i probably could get. Once i get on the Elephant slug i do not get off for any reason. I just play it safe and blast away at those super zombies. Once one of the zombies drops the flame thrower though thats when i get off and run like hell out of there. Going into the ice cave is decidedly easy but getting out is another thing all together.

All of your Methods sound Good, but I have a Better one!! The way me and My friend kill the aliens is This:
Before they appear we kill the first one of the "Medical Zombies" we grab the med pack, Then we let the remaining two Transform us Then we kill them as fast as we can, Dont grab ANy of the two Med packs just get a little close to them so the aliens will appear, Then Barf Fest!!! glee Probably one of you will die but you have to be stupid to stop barfing, they'll Die rather easely, go for the med Pads right after killing the Aliens Maybe you'll get 'em Flashing. Then DESTROY THE GIANT PENIS buttrock (It's easey)

I try to avoid becoming a zombie at all costs. I am not a complete master of MS3 yet (which is why my website is working on part 4 first) but mission 2 I never ever die on anymore. You don't need to be a zombie to have an easy time. The boss is not so hard either because you can get 40 bombs for it. (you can get 10 from a guy who comes out of the ice cave; If you blow open the ice cave without going in, 2 hostages walk out. When the aliens come in, 40 bombs will fry them real easy.

Fuck! The 2nd level is so fucking easy!

The Alien bosses are easily killed with a few bombs each ( you are loaded! ), then the "Giant Penis" is even easier than the Ailens!

I even don't shoot it from the start! I can get at least 3 Pow's, and then I'm loaded with Heavy Machine Gun ammo!

Level 2 ? = Piece of Cake. Period.

The 2nd level takes practice. I got the level down to maximize my point bonuses... I knife or handgun everything... including the boss. By the levels end, I usually have 1.9 million(after POW bonus). if you want the easy way out, the zombie barf can take care of 2-3 of those aliens. You'd just better save a med pack to turn back to human right after.

Personally, I love getting turned into a Snowman. Yeah, I know, you really don't get to do a whole lot as a snowman, but you get to shake around in your boots while being immobile, and I love the detail they have for the snowman, like depending upon your character the snowman will be wearing headband or cap, that kind of small detail ^_^

zombie details are soo cool. some zombies barf at you, some spit their brains out, some unloads their guts.

i use the zombie form to beat the aliens. 3 barfs eliminates nearly all of them.
