It looks good, but he definitely seems to have a Capcom Shotokan and/or DBZ look going on. Frankly, if you didn't say it was Zankuro, I probably wouldn't have recognized him. Your anatomy/proportions here are a lot better than what I saw in the KOF '96 cast painting.

The big hands do make me recall Akiman's work, but that isn't something bad, haha.
