If you are going to buy a sony vega for about $600 - 700 why not buy the real thing and get a rgb, I got one from mas, for $800 and it is awesome. All you have to do is have a separate audio source. When you want perfection get rgb, or else you are just kidding yourself. Nothing brings out the awesome 2D graphics like a rgb monitor......NEONUT

You can purchase a refurbished Commodore R.G.B monitor from www.softhut.com and have a special R.G.B cable made by Redmond Cable. You'll pay less, and get the same results!

Here are other links you can try:
http://www.alexnco.com
http://www.amigaisland.com
http://www.avs-inc.com
http://www.browncomputer.com

If that doesn't help, try using Ebay (search for Amiga monitors). The R.G.B monitors you should be looking for are: Amiga 1080 and Amiga 1084 respectively .

A monitor is like a TV but without a TV Tuner.
RGB monitor is a Tube with a RGB input for sharper image for your video connection that have RGB outputs.

RGB Monitors aint a bad idea if you use cable as your TV channels (if the RGB monitor has cable inputs) and are great for gaming.

I would love to have an RGB monitor but I want a big screen one (at least 34" and super flat and to my knowledge RGB's are not made this way, that is way I go with s-video.

Yuckydog: I have a Viewsonic VP-150. As for RA2, I actually liked it better than the first one. RA2 was a refreshingly good RTS game, especially after suffering through the horror that was C&C2 (Tiberian Sun).

They're smaller in size, but the picture quality is just as good!

I have a WELLS GARDNER RGB monitor and my neo looks great, its only 25 inches but the clarity is outstanding. My brother has a 32 inch wega xbr and it doesn't look half as good. Just call a local arcade repair place and they should have reconditioned monitors. I got mine for $400.
