what PSP system should I buy (or Vita) to play PSP games?

My personal preference is the second model, for the reasons I posted above. However there are those who will swear by the OLED model because the colors are slightly more vibrant. IMO it's a fair trade off for the convenience.

another +1 for the 2000 models. I have 2 of them and had a launch OLED version as well. I don't miss the 1000 AT ALL - it should be noted the battery life on the 2000's is WAY better.

Much easier to mod a 3000 if you are really looking to play these games. The ISO's play so much faster than UMD's.
