What is your favorite RPG (of all time)

Hmmm... I'd probably go with Lunar or Skies of Arcadia.

Lunar I actually own every version made, inlcuding the Japanese versions with the MPEG Saturn version and all that shit. All I need is a Japanese Mega CD of Eternal Blue and that collection is totally complete.

Skies of Arcadia is the only RPG I wished there were more to when I finally completed it.

and sometimes when I think about FFVII, I consider it the best RPG ever. sometimes I change my mind. dunoo. maybe I should play that again.

The Suikoden series is damn fine, I like Final Fantasy 6, KOTOR and Xenogears.

Eternal/Skies of Arcadia is also a phenomenal title, Earthbound is cool and I drool whenever I play an early Breath of Fire title or any Dragon Quest/Warrior game. My tops fighting engine would go to Grandia II, as well.

That's really, really tough. I know, I know you said RPG and not RPGs but it's tough!

Chrono Trigger, probably. Haven't played it since elementary school, but I remember working that game to the bone with a friend of mine. Second, in my opinion, would be Panzer Dragoon Saga.

That, VIII and X were the turds of the Final Fantasy series in my opinion. Hell, I'd rather play Mystical Quest on the SNES over FFVII, VIII or X. VII especially, since it's the episode that ruined FF for me.
