Why not use a car? Or is it not an option? Anyway, it's about a 15 minute drive to our factory, but I also have to travel a lot, visiting our subsidiaries.

I don't have a car and my bike's permit (Zulassung) ran out ages ago.

stevenk also made a good point, though.

Don't know the miles. 40-60 minutes each way. Mostly due to traffic on one end and side streets the other end.

It takes me about 15 minutes.

My previous job was about 5 minutes from my house... I miss the short daily drive!

15-20 minutes, but it's through back roads and farm land so there's no real traffic.

25 min for 15 mile freeway commute to work
Average 40ish minutes for same commute home .

Dont mind long commutes (used to do 90 miles) but despise traffic
for comparison i can ride my bike home in 50 minutes.

Work is seven miles away for me. When school is in, it takes me 45 minutes to get there (nasty traffic). When school is out it only takes me 10 minutes.

I resigned a year ago from my old job because the commute was 45 miles 90 minutes to and 2 hours from. My current job is 10 miles 17 minutes away.

I'm at multiple locations so it could be 40 minutes to 3 hours on the road on a given day, depending on where I'm assigned.

About 25 miles each direction.

Due to the fact there are multiple colleges/universities in the area, my drive each way varies between 40 to 60 minutes. Some days it's closer to 30ish minutes, others...maybe 90.

23 minutes, 18 miles. There isn't any real fluctuation; tad slower if after a snowstorm.

Used to take some 20 minutes (through the streets). The company relocated and it's less than 10 minutes away now.

I'm 9 miles from my shop, takes anywhere from 25-90 minutes to get there depending on when I need to be there. It's generally about 45 minutes to get home.

I fix faults on phone lines for a living. Usually for specific customer's. The drive time between each job location differs. On a good day I do very little driving. Probably an hour to 2 hours for the entire day. On a crappy day I could easily be on the road for 5 hours.

25-30 minutes to go 8 miles. I didn't think it was that short of a distance until I looked it up.

22-25 minutes each way depending on the time of day. If I'm up very early and there is no traffic I can do it in about 15.

I often visit my parents, and from their house it's like 1 hour. From my place, it's like 25-30 minutes depending on traffic.

12 miles and being a lifelong pedestrian, takes an hour to and from work via light rail and bus. Live next to a rail station so it is not too bad for me.
