I am yet to play either of the SW games, but I just got a SW1 MVS for £5/$11. I figured any game has gotta be worth that. It's been confirmed as legit too. Guess I was the first person to see it on eBay. Anyway what is the idea of the game? Do you actually control the race or do you watch it? Can it be used as a means of betting?

To really simplify it:

You pick a horse based on a small number of attributes, mash on various buttons (one normal speed, one to hurry the horse up.)
While you're running, steer it to victory. Along the way, you can grab some power-ups to give you more stamina, etc. but there is a slow-down item as well, but I can't remember what it looks like to warn you.
It's fine for a quick play by yourself but much better with another person.

I missed that the first time I read it.
Still, better to know that it's legit, I guess.

It's actually kinda fun once you get the hang of it!
I never thought I'd like a horse racing game (you can get SW2 really cheap on the MVS!), but I guess the button-mashing portion of the races makes for a fast and fun experience.
Yes, you do get to control the horse to some degree.

I think is ok

pick your horse, control it thru the race

1 button to make it go, 1 button to whip, thats about it

The graphics are funny, you can't help but <3 it.

A buttonmashing game, with horses. I can't get enough of it.

My consolized is almost done, as soon as it gets here I'm gonna play an hour or two of the game.

Haha yessssssssssss.
