Personally, I would want basically KOF 98 with a TON of characters (maybe making all KOF 00 strikers fully playable? :-D). That means removing the striker system, which imo is too hard to control from infinites and also makes the game easy to be cheap (example: Marvel VS Capcom 2, lol). Also, making the armor/special modes of 00 usable and adding new ones would be cool. Just take out strikers, so it can be like the old (and better imo) KOF again! Does anyone else feel the same as I?

Another strikers outfit.I also want to see more serious gameplay,perhaps like in Mortal Kombat series,if you see what i mean.No more cheap and silly things like Another Strikers.3d-graphics,and more entwining plot like in the Orochi saga and stop with the chi-energy gathering already,that thing was in every Kof series except in 94 and 96

I want to see that Kensou get's his psycho powers back!! I hated him in 99 and 2k, before he was a very annoying character. So that's the only thing tha't they have to change

I liked the storyline with Kensou losing his powers... it's the only reason I think he's an interesting character. Anyway, no matter, seeing as how he gets his powers back at the end of 2000.

My ideal KOF:

*Amalgamattion of 98 and 99/2000 style of battle (option of advanced and extra)
*"Helpers" like in 94/95
*No strikers
*HIGH character count (EVERYBODY from previous team tournaments and more - almost the whole roster of Fatal Fury and AOF as well)
*GOOD storyline
*The most important... the Geese team, with Geese, Billy, Ripper, and Hopper.

I would say to round up all of the 'boring' characters and get rid of them to make way for new characters, but the company who would be producing the game may be throwing out some peoples' favorite characters.

I do want more storylines. I don't really care for dream matches. I want a story to follow. Definitely more 'classy' characters and new outfits for the veteran characters.

More attractive main villains please. Thanks.

I wish SNK would put in more cameo characters instead of creating new characters each time. More AOF characters, maybe a few Burning Fight chars and what about making realistic characters out of their non-fighting games, they way they did with Athena and Kensou. Or make a new character from a Samurai Shodown/Last Blade character's bloodline.

I agree! i also feel that krauser and Kane should make a come back to the KOF scene.
but then who would be the last boss?

i love to do striker combos!
as for the characters krusader is right,i mean they should contiue to develop new faces but for example chang,choi and many other caracters are needing a time out,and for they,they should line up some of the old gys like mr.big,heavy d,billy,eiji,krauser and others!
And nobody likes the nest storyline from what i have read.the orochi story is cooler i think.
to iori i really love this bitch but he NEEDS a new outfit since 95 the same chlothers? they are smelling!why kyo gets cool new outfit and why iori dont?
in 97 there where 5 bosses(orochi iori or leona,o.chris,o.shermie,o.yashiro and orochi) its my favourite coz the thick athmosphere.
i dont wanna see the cheap zero or krizalid fuckers,give me a hard guy like rugal ,and many of them

Wanna know what I see? The SAME characters every year, the SAME sprites, the SAME damn game system.

If there was ever a game that needed a facelift, it is the KOF series!

KOF 98' I rate as one of the best Neo games of all time, one of the best fighters period as well.

But since 98' it's gone downhill, hell even 98' had pretty much the same sprites and play system that 94,95,96,97 had.

It needs a facelift bad.

Don't get me wrong, I like KOF, but the same shit gets boring, it's like if Capcom had made ALL it's Street Fighter games look like Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo, without making an Alpha Series, or SF 3 series ect.

Hopefully this eolioth company does something different.
