Weird Monitor problem?

Hello all,

Well I've had my neo-geo for close to 3 weeks now and I just had something weird happen well the monitor itself looks good and plays sharp I recently turned it on just to warm it up and of course I went and ran some errands well while It was doing the demonstration for some odd reason beyond me the monitor got dark all of a sudden and didn't look right like really dark and contrast so I messed with the video switch and after I turned it off and then turned it back on everything looked fine. Should I be worried or should I replace the monitor on the Neo Geo how long do they usually last before they need to be replace and if so where can I get a replacement? any help would be appreciated.

P.S it happened when I was playing Kabuki Klash

I recap every monitor when I pick up a new game. Learn to rebuild the monitors. It will save you tons of money. Also, arcade monitors are hard to come by now. They really only make lcd monitors now which are expensive and look like shit when an older arcade game is played on it.
