Just finished some maintenance on these old guys. Will likely be parting with them soon. Orange looks quite good on the wrist tho.

He doesn’t have an Explorer, and while I can’t 100% confirm the two tone, blue Sub, the other two are fake, leading me to believe it’s fake as well.I like HDR’s watches but are they 38mm? The explorers look small like women’s.
I ended up going for the Hesalite crystal with the solid caseback. I like the look of the Hesalite better, and that’s what they actually used in space due to plastic not shattering like a sapphire crystal would. Having dozens of little shards of a material harder than glass floating in zero gravity would suck big time, lol. The price difference was nice too. I ended up getting mine at a discount from an authorized dealer who sponsors an Omega forum. They work out deals for members.Wowowow congrats on the Moonwatch. Did you go for the skeleton back or the OG? I was shopping for a ring for my gf and I thought what the hell I might as well try one on:
Spoiler:
I really love it, but I def. can't be dropping $6k on anything. Maybe an anniversary co-gift down the line.
And here's my big reveal. I went gaga when I saw this watch. It's pretty much what a watch I designed myself would look like. I'm a big fan of Memphis Group and have a some OG stuff, plus there's a lot of inspiration from sneaker design. I didn't know about it until it was too late - only 182 were made. My gf surprised me with it last week. It's something I'm 100% gonna have for the rest of my life. When I die I will request it be strapped to my corpse before they shoot me off into space. It's my first luxury watch and first mechanical / automatic watch.
Spoiler:
PS: Sorry I'm hairy. My gene pool is full of stinky swarthy island fishermen.
Nice - yeah I think the hesalite is the way to go if you're into the history.I ended up going for the Hesalite crystal with the solid caseback. I love the colors on that Zodiac, dude. The speckled bezel is a nice touch, and the dial texture works well with the overall aesthetic. You could probably put that thing on a brown leather NATO strap and make it look a little more upscale if you wanted. 10/10 gift, would receive gladly. You got a keeper of a girl, too.
Anyone have the Homer Simpson one that says "MMM BURGERS" when you press a button?
DooYes actually. Haha
Looks like it needs a battery though. No display and the sound doesn't work. I remembered seeing it in a drawer in the basement a while back when I was looking for something.
