While laughing can be contageous, anger breeds like an infectious disease.
I must say that I do find VGD's response a bit "tainted," but I'm sure that it was mutual. Yet, this in no way condones their, or even JUST the employee you were dealing with, actions.
I don't desire to add kindling to the fire, but from what I see the purchase was somewhat impulsive. I've delt on the www.ugtz.com page numerous times and realize that the word "used" leaves much to be described (heck even "mint" does in alot of cases). Any ambiguities should be throughly ironed out before the final transaction is made or the purchase is an impulsive one that is no better than playing Russian Roulette. I personally never buy used items from online retailers, who usually have a limited understanding of their used stock. (I make my used purchases on eBay or fellow gamers whom I can give the 5th degree to
). Thats just the way I deal with used games, but as far a buying new ones I will still purchase from VideoGameDepot.com. Their service is very good, and even though you had a bad experience with them it is possible that some of the employees there are less experienced then they should be at customer relations. (ie. Don't fight fire with fire)
I hope it all gets ironed out and that we don't have to ruin any reputations that might have been somewhat tarnished by one or two employees who got a bit "too involved" in their responses.
Just my two cents.
