Hi guys,

Been sitting on this design for quite awhile (at least a few months, probably more) but never put it up for sale on ebay. Its a generic RGBHV or RGBS to Component transcoder that can convert any sync type, any polarity (even mismatching polarities) to component video. It also does not use any sync stripping so it also works at any resolution. I have more details in the ebay description.

Also sent over a copy of this product to retrorgb for them to look at it and review, but like my other products I guarantee it will work and that it's high quality.

Also, other products:

SCART to Component - http://www.ebay.com/itm/191876964053
SCART to VGA Breakout - http://www.ebay.com/itm/191845520434

My friend picked up your SCART to Component converter and he let me test the hell out of it. A bunch of my retro game friends were sold after seeing the results. Everyone was super impressed with it and I am totally pumped to see anything new from you! Keep up the great work!

The XRGB2 outputs 648x480 VGA resolution IIRC.

Yup, my transcoder is resolution agnostic, the only limitation would be the device you connect it to. Any HD CRT would work. Any LCD/Flatscreen that accepts 480p will work.

Would this work with 640x480 @ 70Hz, like out of a DOS-era VGA card?

That SCART to component adapter looks tempting. I'd love to try that on my Saturn.

Yes. It's both resolution and refresh rate agnostic. I've actually tried it on a 486 DOS PC. However it was challenging to find a flatscreen TV that would sync it (text mode dos has a very odd non-standard resolution)

Would the SCART to component transcoder work with the weird sync rate of Mortal Kombat boards? IOW: can it be used to connect an MK board via component to a regular LCD TV?
