Hiya,

This may sound like an odd question but is it possible to use a pc monitor to play my Neo Geo games on?? I currently have a one slot board in a standard jamma cab but i want to cannibalise this cab and put the MVS board into a cocktail cabinet that i am building, but if possible i want to be able to use a large pc monitor that i already have.

Not practical, as the MVS outputs a 15 KHz horizontal frequency, the PC (VGA) monitor will run at 31 KHz, also the sync is different.
You could get a convertor- but far better to get hold of a low res 15 KHz monitor..

Alternatively-Being in the UK, pick up a cheap TV with scart input and run the RGB through that. It wouldnt be difficult to mod the set to auto switch to AV input at switch on for the scart input.

The ONLY good converter is the XRGB2+ by Micomsoft, but that's $200 USD. A scart TV is much more practical as ttooddddyy suggests.
