I know plenty of people that just didn't want to vote after Bernie was cheated from the nomination. They either went 3rd party or just didn't vote at all. Tim Kaine was a horrible choice. Why not just pick up Bernie? WHAT THE FUCK WAS SHE THINKING?

It was really really stupid, and was a glaring sign of how out of touch she and the DNC were/are. She thought moderates were the group she needed to shore up and/or poach from the Republicans. This after her main attacks on Sanders were for his criticism of Obama's policies.

They assumed the left would fall in line. They took it for granted, as they always do.
