Interesting, I like the wide flat shots and the shadows on the shoji screens.
On a related old school samurai movie note Ghost of Tsushima DC has a Kurosawa setting that allow you turn off the HUD, put it in B&W and even add film grain filters. It's a pretty cool bonus.
