Did you ever see a quote in gaming that make a lasting impression on you? Thats coz the quote
"Watch me now. A flower's life's brief" of Benimaru in Kof 99 made a lasting impression on me.

I will never forget the following:

"HA HA
VERY EASY
CONGRATION"

CONY's Street Fighter III for the NES - (hong kong original).
Beat that :)

SS1 and AOF2 had some good, funny quotes, and SS2 had good Engrish and Cham Cham's swearing, but the greatest video game quotes come from the 8-bit era and earlier. Super Mario Bros., Pro Wrestling, River City Ransom, Bad Dudes, etc..

I can't remember any AOF2 quotes verbatim, but there was a lot of great pre-fight dialogue (like John and Mickey singing "I did it my way") in that one.

SS1 quotes:

Jubei: "Amakusa...the tough?"
Jubei (pre-fight): "Can you bare [sic] to my fatal attack?"
Jubei vs. Jubei (pre-fight): "Wouldn't you like to be a Yagyu too?" (reference to old American advertising campaign for Dr. Pepper soda pop)

Gen-an (pre-fight): "Will I get some of your estate?"

Kyoshiro (pre-fight): "Now in this scene, I rip open your belly."

Wan Fu: "I thought I was dead. Then again, I also think I'm Cleopatra, too."

Tam-Tam: "Feel the samba rhythm. Chika-chika-chika. Babalooh!"

Amakusa: "Die, you crazy funster!"

Thats when one's ego shatters to uncollectable pieces. I used to be in that state once but now I've grown out of it.

I forget the exact verbage, but in SS1, something about Nakoruru beating your ass and putting you up in traction.

I always took that in a sexual, perverted way :eye: :eye:

Ok. This is for fighting games, right?

Ok. Here's my favorites.

"I'll chisel your gravestone. Sleep well." - Wolfgang Krauser

"Another luscious symphony of bone crushing sounds." - Rugal Bernstein

"Ura!!!!!" -- Fuuma

(Ok, I was kidding with the World heroes one.)

"All creatures will die and all things will be broken. That's the law of Samurai."

Nothing will ever top that one.

Ya got spunk kid, I hate spunk - Lord Wolfgang Krauser

You've got HOT spunk. I hate spunk. (was what he said)

Tell me someone at SNK wasn't having some fun coming up with that one.

Wow. Which Fatal Fury did he say that one in? I have Real Bout and Real Bout Special, but I can't recall seeing that quote.

"Daring to strike a lady?" Think about it in traction."

I, too, enjoyed the pre-fight dialogue in AOF2.
