I played Tekken 3 - it was a more attractive version of T2. Whatever innovation it had (side throws, side stepping, whatever) was so minor it made little to no difference in the gameplay. People complain that SF and KOF stay the same each title; yet they flock to this fugly title.... Tekken Tag's sole redeeming feature was that if you lost one fighter you lost the round. Other than that it was more of the same - or even worse a half assed excuse to drag the characters cut from T3 into the game (ala Ultimate Mortal Kombat - there's a title you want to be compared to). I know all fighting series essentially reuse the same system for the sequels, but Tekken isn't a KOF/SF/VF - it doesn't have the solid engine that those games do. It's hard to believe the same people that make Soul Caliber make Tekken - what a difference. Tekken 4 should be subtitled: 'Couldn't Care Less'.

I like the Tekken series, especially Tekken Tag Tournament, and everywhere I go people talk about Tekken. So you really can't say and justify that Tekken is just another "Mortal Kombat".
To prove my point, why don't you buy a PS2 and Tekken Tag Tournament and see if it really good or not.</STRONG>
