SVC Chaos AES delayed!

Check out the playmore update... damn to 12.11 ... this sucks badly...

The biggest disapointment out of the whole delay is the fact that there would have been little price difference between the AES and MVS versions at the time of the initial release date, So I would have gone for the AES. Now it would seem that I have little choice out of which version I plan to get. Why would I wait until December to pay $329, when I can get the game 2 months earlier for the same price?

This delay sucks, but it does take the pressure off a bit. Wasn't sure if I would be able to get the AES version when it came out. If the MVS version comes down to $325 before Dec. then I'll probably get that one instead. Hopefully MS5 & SS0 are still coming out this year. spock

Something kind of strange. They added Violent Ken to the Engrish section, and they call him Viorent Ken. Yet he's still the proper Violent Ken on the Jap section. Someone must've been smoking something. wink The Engrish version is supposed to be on the Japanese site, not the other way around.

In any case, I might not be able to get the game before Christmas and in that case, I will probably just cancel the preorder and get the JP PS2 import. Unless that has been delayed to August 2005.

yeah maybe i'll buy this with christmas money... that'd be a great way to spend my christmas break, playing SVC all freaking night and day. does anyone know or have a guess as to how much the PCB will cost at that time and/or if the MVS cart version will be out (if it's coming out)? god i'm happy i still get something for christmas, ohh the joys of living at home/being a bum.

so what about kof 2003 that would theoretically
release at the same time. talk about shooting
yourself in the foot. or perhaps not come out
with 03 on cart till the next year. which i think
would be stupid. i wonder if this is really is a
delay or just something to prolong arcade life.
i kinda think not since they seemed to push back
a few other projects too.
if they miss the end of the year i think they will
put themselves in a bad position though. but thats my thoughts.

I truly hope that there is a reason for this delay other than "milking it" for everthing it's worth(AND THEY SHOULD). I'm going to have to scope out an arcade and see if I can find this game now..
The vendors who own this title are really going to make out. If I owned an establishment with a cab, I'd be very happy about making or have made the investment to purchase this board especially after the price drop.
Overall this delay benefits just about everyone.
