SSVS US AES cart problem....

My SSVS arrived yesterday and I was quite disturbed when I opened the shockbox, bottom right corner of my AES cart had a gap. It appears someone tried to force it open but didn't quite opened all the way. So I closed the gap and tried to play with it. 2 time around it showed error but on the 3rd try the game worked fine. I need opinion on this... should I send this back to neo store or keep it?

Insert and remove the cart a few times - this will remove the invisible coating that causes Neo Geo carts not to work the first couple of times. I'd try that before you go assuming that you've got a defective cart.
