Gary Bettman and the NHL executive committee have approved a Seattle expansion franchise for the 2020 season. The other owners will vote in early December, but it's a formality. This is happening.

I used to have a tribal hatred for some teams.

Then the Cubs won the World Series two years ago and I stopped caring about other teams.

I still smile when I think about that night. It still makes me happy.

Even tonight, I can just enjoy this game. I want the Cubs to win but if they don't, no big. I can actually enjoy baseball these days.

Dodgers and Brewers are 2-0, and look to be moving on.

Astros kicked ass, and Red Socks vs. Yankees looked like a blow out, but the Yankees came back and lost by one run.

I'd love to see an Astros and Yankees rematch from last years AL championship series.

Rockies forgot how to hit.

Hopefully coming back to Coors gets their heads out of their asses.

Avs won their opener, got the punk ass Flyers tonight.

I'm surprised their bats have been so quiet.

Milwaukee's bullpen is great also, so they need to get hits early on in the game and keep any momentum going.

Rockies were awful this post season!
What happened to their bats?

I thought they would do better, especially after closing out the season so nicely.

I'll be happy once the Yankees, Cubs, and Dodgers are out. Bonus points if Chase Utley breaks his leg in his last game. Fuck the NBA, and fuck Gary Bettman.
Two down, one to go, so I'm getting greedy: Brewers/Astros World Series, please. And I still want Chase Utley to leave on a cart.

Fuck the Rockies, Cubs and Yankees with a railroad spike.

And now whatever happens in MLB can happen and it's all good. Wouldn't mind seeing the Astros repeat though.

I'm glad Jimmy Butler is taking all the mystery out of whether or not he truly is a crazy person. Dude is legit off, and anyone who's willing to trade for him is nuts.

Thibs continues to crack me up in how blatantly obvious it is that he's not actually trading Butler. Deal was in place with Miami so Thibs goes wait, just kidding, I want more. So Miami backed out.

Per Bleacher Report, Pat Riley called Thibs a motherfucker and hung up on him during the Butler trade talks.

Minnesota is a freaking disaster.

Speaking of disasters, my Suns fired their GM Ryan McDonough. Lots of mixed feelings from myself and others about that. Very odd timing. On the bright side, Ayton is looking to be the real deal that earned his number one draft pick status. He's rocked it during the preseason.

Avs smashed Buffalo last night, 6-1. That puts them at 3-1-0 so far.
