Heh, I've actually done that at work...intentionally infected a (test) machine to explore various ways to remove the infection.

You know which one is the worst? Fucking Vundo / Virtumonde. If I ever find the guy who wrote that shit I'm going to choke him to death with his own dick. I've successfully removed it once...usually when I see it pop up in a scan I just format / reinstall.
