Sound interference on a MVS 1-slot

I just bought a MVS 1-slot, model MV-1F. Games load fine, but there's so much sound interference that I can't hear any of the sounds/music! Wierd thing is that it only happens when there's BGM playing, no interference on the quiet bits...
It happens on all my games so I assume something on the board is bust. I'll try to get it replaced tomorrow.

Anyone else had this problem?

I'm using a Supergun by the way, not a cabinet, but it happens on my friends 'gun too.

Same symptoms, but only on metal slug.

I'm using a supergun too, but that shouldn't make any difference anyway.

I just assumed a dodgy cart.

I had this problem on a supergun and it was simply that i had pushed the cart 2 far in like autobot says.

Cheers for the advice guys!
Shame it still happens no matter how far the carts are pushed in <IMG SRC="smilies/frown.gif" border="0">

Tried Last Blade and Sam Shodown, happens on both, so it must be the board...

Just to close the topic off:
I sent the board back, and they agree it is a sound fault. Hopefully the replacement one will fare better!

Arcader (www.arcader.co.uk), but I won it on an ebay auction.

Any advice on the best UK dealers to use? Perhaps a new topic needed to list the best ones...
