It used to be a rather common practice, for exposure to those who only check out certain sections. Not so much now I suppose but meh.

From what I remember, back when this was Neo Geo Pocket only, people used it to sell NGP stuff, until the Judge came and punished everybody. Then FTL used it to announce some sales and a shitstorm was formed.

I think sale in this forum should not be allowed, handhelds are currently a very common selling material so they should go to the market section. And if sales are allowed in this forum, they should be only for REGULAR posters of this section and well-established members overall.

Selling in Arcade Central makes more sense as some arcade stuff can be very rare (with low liquidity) and could get lost in the "everything else" forum easily. Same considerations as above apply though.
