I had to help my roomie compile some of his work into a presentation for one of his art classes, and I was impressed by quite a bit of it. I thought I'd share some of it with you guys, just because it's sitting on my computer and why the hell not?

Jon busts his ass on this stuff, and even if it's not the best work out there, I give him credit just because he puts so much of his time and effort into it.

What do you guys think?

Good stuff, some of it needs a little more work(the 2nd piece in particular), but overall very nice.

Yeah I agree that the second is probably the weakest, but they are all pretty good paintings.

I like the first one the most.

What is he using on these?

The first one is the only piece that's a painting. The other two are pastels.

I have a whole bunch of his stuff, so I'll have to up it a bit later and post some more.

I actually like the second one the most.

I think it's the lighting and color, it's very moody.

These were based on photographs I assume?

Optic Blast.

I like the third one the most, nice lighting and color variety.

Thought so.

I think the reason I dont like the second as much is because of the way he did the floor, the way his lines are make his perspective look crooked even thought it really isnt.

I second that. Has a very creepy atmosphere to it.

Your friends creeping me out. I'd bet some of TonK's oxycontin that this guy is in fact a schitzo.
