Nop, it will only work in your monitor in low res (15khz) mode, the other mode is hi-res (31khz), not medium.

I'm sure I read a few people were getting it working on any old monitor. Also I've been saying medium res as klov says it is. Now this confuses me Is it officially "VGA20" resolution?
