I would also like to bring to your attention that nobody would leave their own country had it not been for the interference of the American Government, who are as guilty for this as the bombers, you would understand the point if you read more than just the biased points of view that are written in your history books and newspapers. The palestinian people are happy that they got a taste of what those children get every day, these children are fighting guns and grown men. But all this is pointless to say to all of you, because all you will do is aim cheap insults at me and project your anger on me, feel free, but it must be said.
You know... you're not going to get any cheap insults here. But there are points to be made.
There are other ways for a country to show that they don't want you involved with their policies and conflicts. Sending terrorists to the country you "hate" to destroy landmarks, and in the process kill thousands of innocent people, is not proving a point. I'm one of the few people that actually seen the terror that was in New York that day AS IT HAPPENED, not just from a TV set... I literally SAW the plane purposely flying into the World Trade Center... I SAW BOTH of the towers fall . And everytime when I look out my bedroom window, I see a BIG HUGE SMOKE CLOUD where a city that holds dreams for millions of people used to stand. To make matters worse, I know TONS of people that work in or near the World Trade Center, some of which I haven't heard from since the last call they made on a cell phone praying that they wouldn't die. And my first roommate was actually IN a building a few blocks down when the planes hit, so he was there FIRST HAND watching all of the death and chaos... the people jumping out of windows... the thousands of people running for their lives screaming. I can't even imagine the emotional scars my friend is going through right now I WOULDN'T WISH ANY OF THIS ON ANYBODY, regardless of their beliefs.
As for "stealing Native American's Lands"? Sorry, but I'm African American... my ancestors NEVER stole land in America as we were "brought here" (as with many other people who may have had loved ones who perished in yesterday's tragedy). Regardless... why continue to hold GRUDGES for things that happened that were not in our control? I'm sick and tired of being told about what "we" have done, or what "our kind" will do to others... ESPECIALLY since I NEVER HAD ANYTHING TO DO WITH IT.
And yes... the pictures of the Palestinian People celebrating is a DISGUSTING photo to see. I'm certain that even if the US was to have done heinous acts to the Middle East in the past that you didn't see school kids partying in the streets. These days, I don't find myself as being as religiuos as I used to since I've seen hypocricy in ALL religions, but when innocent people are brought up to instantly hate people they never met that is wrong. And that's what is basically happening over there in the Middle East... they are teaching kids that people here in the US are the devil. I feel sorry for every kid who has to grow up in such a Spartanistic atmosphere such as Pakistan, where their youth and innocense is "raped" away from them by their adults due to political and religious reasons. We have NO CONTROL over what the politicians and our so-called representatives say or do. The people you need to have vengeance with is them and NOT US. Besides, you won't walk into any regular US educational institution and see people blatantly teaching students to hate other races and people.
I could go on for days about this... but this is a video game forum not a political forum. I just think that there was a much better way to make a protest than to put thousands and thousands of people's lives and dreams in a pile of destroyed rubble...
