I myself am notorious for throwing money into my video game collection.

I think there are a few things they can do to pump up the interest in the game without driving the price up.

I'm not aware the exact nature of the machine. I don't know if it's essentially an AES architecture with a Phantom-Style converter. Or if it's more like a SuperGun with an AES to MVS convertor.

I'd guess the latter, as it would be infinately easier to buy/make the SuperGun-style as opposed to an AES chipset. If they're doing the AES chipset....that's downright stupid.

Personally, I don't see it being a huge problem to have a JAMMA connection on it as well, say in the back, much like the I/O slots on a PSX.

They have to be using something similar
In order to get the Slot1 Mobo working.

If it's a AES/MVS/Supergun box, $400 is a little more reasonable. Considering it would take little more than some rewiring/redesign an maybe $20(bulk) worth of hardware.

Just my 2 cents.

As much as I'd like to support this platform, $500+ is absurd. I know they can't make it any cheaper...I'm sorry.
