Nice. Glad you were able to save it. Doesn't look in too bad of shape. A new cp and you should be good to go. Was it fully operational as a Big Buck Hunter?

Yeah, I can't imagine seeing some big guy sit down to play Big Buck Hunter on a cute little Japanese machine.

Holy crap, is that some déjà vu. I picked up an impress at an auction a few years ago that was exactly the same for like 60 bucks. Had a pedestal attached to the bottom though.

Judging by the control panel yours was done by the same guy. Had a big hole drilled under the control panel that I had to fill. Top right door was hacked up for an American coin mech. I used body filler on that as well.

Yes, the cab was fully functional as a Big Buck Hunter. I found a panel, jusy trying to source a player 2 Power Up plug/harness and a Kick harness for the CP plug and I'm good to go.

The black thing with the 4 bolts is the pedestal it WAS on. Threw it in the trash as this is going back to a fighting game cab. My doors aren't hacked though, except the top right has a coin return in it.

Mine also has the large hole on the bottom of the control panel.

Nice cab lachlan, very nice! How much $$ have you forked into it?

Heh well it cost me a disgusting $1100 initially with a rusted out Astro CP, a MS-2932 chasis (31k only...) and some weird ass wiring. I've spent about $500 on getting a couple MS2930 tri sync chassis to return it back to OG, a hundred or so on a new CP, couple hundred on a repro PSU from RiverService in Japan, about another hundred on a new 001 harness and then some repro art from BIGTIME too so heh lots .....
From now on I'll be shipping cabs down from Sydney through Highway Entertainment. I wont be taken up the ass like I was here in melb.

BUT ITS READY TO ROCK!
