Should I buy King of Fighters 2000 & 2001 and
King of Fighters 2002 & 2003 on the PS2 or just
get it on the Japanese MVS Carts?. :conf:

I have King of Fighters 2002 on MVS & what is
the difference between the Japanese and
American versions?. :conf: ;)

My MVS Cart came with a Japanese & a Spanish
dip sheets, marquee's & move stickers too.

Is the Japanese MVS version uncensored?.
Like Mai's bouncy boobs & blood too?.

I saw Athena transform which showed her
in her bra & panties on King of Fighters 2001
at the Neo Store viewing the gameplay footage.

Should I trade in my King of Fighter 2002 MVS
Cart for the Japanese MVS Cart version or
what if I just put it on Japanese mode?.

Also should I get the uni-bios 2.0 because I
have the uni-bios 1.1 version in my 2-slot
Consolized MVS unit?.

:help: :help: :help: :help:

I'd get both if possible. When it comes out on Xbox, I'd get that one, too. But, Boog, this is Neo talk... you didn't have to put it in Unrelated...

If you can afford it, buy the MVS carts, my friends bought the PS2 versions and they cry everytime they see those games running on my AES... :kekeke:

Just buy it if you really want it, otherwise save your money and get KOF 03 on MVS.

Oops! I had a feeling I put it in the wrong place. :kekeke:
Oh well. :)

I also wanted to know if the Japanese MVS Cart is
uncensored because I might just trade my
King of Fighters 2002 MVS Kit but I just want
keep the Kit & just trade the Bare MVS Cart
for a Japanese version if it is uncensored?.:help:

The MVS Cart is mint. :kekeke:

I want to collect,

King of Fighters '94
King of Fighters '95
King of Fighters '96
King of Fighters '97
King of Fighters '98
King of Fighters '99
King of Fighters 2000
King of Fighters 2001
King of Fighters 2003

But I rather get the Japanese MVS versions though at a
fair price.

Are the PS2 versions of King of Fighters 2000 & 2001 plus
King of Fighters 2002 & 2003 different than the MVS
versions?. Which is better the Arcade MVS or the PS2 ports?.

I saw King of Fighters 2002 & 2003 on X-Play
& they said they where different. They looked
pretty good though. I think the Neo Store dropped
the price on 2000 & 2003 but I want to wait
til the price drops some more because I want to
at least get 4 or 5 MVS games like,

King of Fighters 2000
King of Fighters 2003
Pochi and Nyaa
Metal Slug 3
Shock Troopers

Kenny Boy is holding a Samurai Shodown II Bare
MVS Cart for me for about $27.00 which isn't a
bad deal.

My mom says I should get the ports because
King of Fighters 2000, 2001, 2002 & 2003 are
much cheaper on the PS2. :kekeke:

Well, the sprites are more pixelated and has less colours on the PS2 version, than on the Neo. And the us bundle from the PS2 versions are censored.
I saw a video from the MVS version from KOF2003 and SVC Chaos running on a arcade cab and I was amazed from the definition and colours it had!
The PS2 version has some bonuses like more charakters or backgrounds, but you don't really care when you got the MVS or AES versions.

I for example, I bought first the DC, than the PS2 and later, the AES version. And now you won't see me playing the DC or PS2 versions ever again.

another point of the PS2, the 3D background are aliased and the gameplay is pretty bad on 2000 and 2001.

I hope I could help!

I better think about buying them on MVS or the
PS2 first before I decide. :kekeke:
I want to save starting April to June to get
a Super Nova Arcade System which I get
paid about $100.00 a month from the Bank
so I should Have about $300.00 to buy it
because I want to have my own Arcade
games to play on my 52-inch Screen TV
which is a Toshiba brand in my bedroom. :kekeke:

Can a Consolized 2-slot MVS Board still be
hooked up to the Super Nova because I
think it has the Jamma part to connect into
an Arcade cab. :conf: :kekeke: I am only
using that as an example.

I want MK1, MK2, MK3, Ultimate MK3,
Street Figther 2, CE, Turbo, Super, Super Turbo,
Alien Vs. Predator, X-Men Arcade, Simpson's TMNT,
TMNT II, Spider-man Arcade any many more etc.

I miss going the the Arcade but I don't have the
strength anymore since 1993 after I got really
sick. I want to get small hand controllers & small
light joysticks to be modded for the Super Nova
System which will be so much easier for me to
use.

How heavy are the Mas joysticks & the Super
Nova Arcade System are & are the cords long
enough to reach me because my game table
is on the right side of my TV and my TV is in
the center wall & my bed is in front of my Big
TV so I can see. Any suggestions. :help: :help:

I have a DC version of King of Fighter '99
Dream Match being returned to me by
Game Addicton & Mai boobs bounce in
it. My MVS version of King of Fighters
2002 & Mai boobs don't bounce unless
I put the uni-bios 1.1 cheat menu by
pressing Select & Start together to
turn the bouncey boobs on or red blood.

I don't know if it is an American, Euro or
Spanish MVS version because it had a
Spanish dip sheet I think the color Orange?.

The Japanese MVS version must be uncensored
only. KoF 2003 showed Mai's boobs bouncing on
the PS2 version on X-Play on G4TechTv yesterday.

Yeah I'll probably save up money & just get the
Japanese MVS versions instead of the the ports.

It helped a lot Thanks. ;)

I always go with the MVS versions if I've got a choice, however it might be nice to get the Xbox versions of 2002/2003 just to be able to compete via Xbox Live. So, If you know lots of people that will play against you in your neighborhood or something, I'd definitely go with the MVS versions. Personally, none of my friends really play KOF, so in that situation I'd have to recommend the XBL versions.

P.S. My friends suck. :crying:

It seems from boog's post that there is confusion about the language of the MVS carts themselves.

The Japanese and English MVS carts are exactly the same the language (and the censoring etc.....) is dependant on the hardware you are running it on, hence and english cart will play in japanese on japanese hardware, or a japanese cart will play in english on english hardware.

Yes, the DC versions has bouncing boobs in the us, but not on the PS2!

That's funny, my US KOF2003 AES doesn't have bounce in it and I play it on a japanese AES, it's the only game who has this. :(

I heard there was an option to play the game in original mode without the jazzed up effects for the specials and backgrounds added to the PS2....

I could never pull off the super moves on the
King of Fighters games just the basic moves
like Power Dunk! etc. The King of Fighters 2002
MVS Cart is running on my Consolized 2-slot MVS
unit with a uni-bios 1.1 installed on the socket inside.
I really should get the uni-bios 2.0 real soon. I turn
on the cheat in the cheat menu to have mai's
bouncey titties plus blood too. I got to play as
Rugal in 2002 somehow which was pretty weird. :kekeke:

SNK/Playmore should remake all the MVS games
& put them on the Atomiswave Carts which would
be so damn! cool. Like for example Sengoku 3
should have added levels & bosses would be so
sweet!. Of course new games as well too.

Is the Atomiswave any good?.

They should have a Beat'em up style game of
King of Fighters which would be so awesome!.

Other game companies should make games on
the Atomiswave too.

Kenny Boy said that he could Consolized an
Atomiswave unit for me if I supple him with
one. How much will it cost me?. How many
buttons does the Atomiswave games use?.

Oh sorry for the confusion about the MVS
games of the King of Fighters stuff.

Should I keep my King of Fighters '99 Dream Match
on my DC when it gets return to me from Dave at
Game Addiction soon because I like when Mai's
boobs bounce. Blue Mary's boobs shake a little
on my MVS Cart of King of Fighters 2002.
Blue Mary says "Are You Ready!." :kekeke:

If you want to collect the KOF MVS carts, then go with the MVS carts. But, if you want good ports and cheaper price for the games go with the PS2 games. I have KOF 2000/2001 for the PS2, and it plays just it's NG counterpart. But, as people said above, the colors on the PS2 are not nearly as sharp as the NG version.

Bottom Line:
If you're an MVS collector: then go with the MVS carts.
If you just want to them just to play the games: go with the PS2 games.

I try to find the Bare Carts of The King of Fighters
MVS versions of '94, '95, '96, '97, '98, '99, 2000,
2001 & 2003 at a fair price instead of the Kits.

I'll also buy the PS2 versions in case I don't
want to pull out my MVS Carts. :kekeke:

You guys are a great! help. :kekeke: ;)
