Adidas Ultraboost are my go to shoe for daily use. They are very comfortable. I usually wait until they are on sale and Adidas has an extra 50% off sale prices. I've bought about 10-12 pairs in the last 5 years and always pay around $60-70 a pair.

ASICS nimbus and Kayano are also excellent shoes. If you have an outlet nearby check it out they usually have them discounted and BOGO for an extra 35% off.
