Just came across a copy and inserted it in a NGPC unit and ... wow, this game runs fully colored (except for the backgrounds, but even they have multiple color shadings). Are there any more games stating they are B/W but have this feature?

you should be able to play any b/w game on the NGpc
but if you had a NGp B/W the color games wouldn't neccessarily play.
most of them have neat little screens with character art saying the specific game isn't
compatible with the system.

I think, you misunderstood my point. I said, that a B/W Samurai Showdown 1 runs fully colored on a NGPC unit.

As far as I know, Samurai Shodown! NGPC is the only one. I was quite surprised too. I have some other B&W Japanese NGPC games, I could check again.

SamSho 1 is the only b/w game I have found to run in full color. It was a nice surprise.

Now if I had only known that magical drop pocket was one of the few games without dual language support...
