Samurai shodown 4 violence soft dip question.

I have a query about the violence setting in SS4. It seems there are 2 different settings.. One is the level and the other is marked as SP and it can be with or without.

I was lead to believe this SP setting was related to the end of level fatalities but I am not 100% sure this is the case. Does anyone know what this setting actually does? What does the DIP sheet say about it?

No worries any longer, I found out what it does now. It enables the special moves information that appears under the energy bars, but not the main level end fatality message, that always appears regardless.
