Resetting MVS

This may sound crazy but is there anyway to reset the MVS from the controller?

I don't think so. That would be a bad idea.

Not really, i just wanted some way to restart in case I did something like chose the wrong character or just wanted to start from the beginning. It's a real pain to have to cut the power just to restart.

If you are looking to do something like cut the power you may be able to make and mount an on/off switch somewhere on your cabinet. You wouldn't want to accidently reset the machine by pressing a certain combination of buttons. That could cause problems in arcades.

Install a test button (Service button?) to drop you back to the MVS setup menu, and then just exit out of it.
