Based on lengthy conversations with black frieds, it is very common for black Republicans to be labled as "Uncle Toms".How would they be able to do that? Why don't the blacks feel represented by the GOP? The GOP was in favor of rights for blacks if I look at the history.
I was very disappointment when Herman Cain dropped out of the race. Whether or not he would have been a good president is for another debate. However, he did send the message to black Americans that it is OK to be Republican.
Media correlation of Tea Party and GOP; non-liberals lumped together. Southern states have history been less progressive. Why would that be? Why would people associate the Tea Party with the GOP while there are no links? Are the ideas similair then?
Also, why do most people vote for GOP if they are just for the rich? Most southern states (if not all) vote GOP. Do you have an idea why the GOP is populair in those states?
Racist elements?
A picture is worth a thousand words.
The Democrat party has been more accepting of blacks. The GOP does come off as homophobic. Also, religion is more focused on by the GOP.What changes are you talking about?
Do you think the GOP needs to drop views regarding gaymarriage and abortion? I wonder why blacks vote Democrat since a lot of blacks are against gaymarriage and abortion (from what I get from the media).
The 47% comment was indeed weird to say the least. I've looked it up and it is weird that he seriously believes that many people are "supposidly" depenend on the government.
Most people equated this to an attack on black Americans and other minorities
Yes, I voted GOP. I see myself more as a fiscal conservative than a Republican.Did you vote GOP or did you refrain from voting this time?
